and then it was goodbye
Off to the train station again. Trishie walked us all the way back to the station where we caught the train then bus to John Lennon Liverpool Airport to fly KLM to Amsterdam! Very smooth travels that day! Thank you, Trishie. Awfully sad to go, but the thought of seeing Aisha & Kiara again motivated us. Zara was excited to be at the airport again, she kept repeating it. We loved KLM, it was just a 50 minute flight and they gave us two yummy sandwiches; something you never see-even on 3 hours flights- in the USA anymore.
Kathleen Zara arrived into this world on July 30, 07. Matt, Mary Rose (Matt's 16 year old sister)and I were all in Ft. Leavenworth Kansas waiting for her at St John's Hospital. Along with Zara's birth mother Chrissie and half brother Devonte, we enjoyed ourselves; getting to know each other better! Chrissie's labor was about 10 hours long and suddenly Zara was here! A few hectic & thrilling days later, on August 5th, Zara boarded her first plane home to Washington DC with her mommy and daddy! Chrissie is in Cuba with the US Army and Devonte is on base with his grandmother, Penny, in Kansas waiting for her return. We speak often and we are forever thankful to each other.
