Zara on a train to Liverpool and Granny Zarr's hometown
We caught the Monday morning train from Euston, London and arrived in Liverpool by 1pm. My Aunt Trishie met the train to escort us to the other train station and catch the local train to Formby. We love Trishie's home, it's her family home since she was a baby too. That sunny afternoon we waited in her lovely english garden the arrival of Uncle Johnny, Vix, Sharla and baby William. Zara was great on the train ride and pretty watch Elmo the whole way eating choco cookies...who said bribery never works!
Kathleen Zara arrived into this world on July 30, 07. Matt, Mary Rose (Matt's 16 year old sister)and I were all in Ft. Leavenworth Kansas waiting for her at St John's Hospital. Along with Zara's birth mother Chrissie and half brother Devonte, we enjoyed ourselves; getting to know each other better! Chrissie's labor was about 10 hours long and suddenly Zara was here! A few hectic & thrilling days later, on August 5th, Zara boarded her first plane home to Washington DC with her mommy and daddy! Chrissie is in Cuba with the US Army and Devonte is on base with his grandmother, Penny, in Kansas waiting for her return. We speak often and we are forever thankful to each other.
